Apple Debuts Enhanced MacBook Air with M3 Chip, Pricing Starts at ₹1,14,900




Apple has introduced its latest MacBook Air featuring the new M3 chip, claiming up to a 60% performance boost compared to the M1 version. Boasting an impressive 18-hour battery life, the lightweight laptops are equipped with a 'Liquid Retina' display reaching 500 nits brightness. The M3 chip, complete with a 16-core Neural Engine, enables real-time speech-to-text, text predictions, and translation through optimized AI models.

The M3 chip includes an 8-core processor, a 10-core integrated GPU with ray-tracing and mesh shading, supporting up to 24GB of unified memory. Available in both 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, the laptops are less than half an inch thick, supporting Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, a 1080p camera, and three microphones. The fanless design and MagSafe charging further enhance the user experience.

These new MacBook Air models allow for connection to two external displays even with the laptop lid closed. Connectivity features include two Thunderbolt ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and color options of midnight, starlight, space grey, and silver.

Pricing starts at  ₹ 1,14,900 for the 13-inch MacBook Air with M3, while the 15-inch model is available from ₹ 1,34,900. Additionally, Apple is offering a discounted price of ₹ 99,900 for the MacBook Air with M2.
